Along the way, you’ll trek through remote ethnic villages, encounter the H'mong, Tay, and Nung people, and experience their unique cultures and traditions.

Cao Bang Trekking Adventure Tour Schedule – Trails of Waterfalls & Limestone Peaks
Your guide will pick you up at 8:00 AM for a 5-hour drive towards Cao Bang, passing through Lang Son. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang town at 13:00. After lunch, trek from Cun Stream on Ma Phuc Pass through fields and valleys to Phia Thap Incense Village, known for its traditional incense-making of the Nung ethnic group. Spend the night in a Nung ethnic stilt house, sharing dinner with the locals.- A 10-12 km trek.
After breakfast, we visit Phia Thap Village (incense-making), a tile-making village, and Phuc Sen (knife forging). We’ll also explore a Nung knitting village and a paper-making village. Picnic lunch included, then return to the Nung house for dinner.
- A 17-20 km trek.
Today, we trek from Quang Uyen to Ban Gioc Waterfall, a stunning 300-meter waterfall straddling Vietnam and China. After enjoying the falls and taking photos, we visit Nguom Ngao Cave, known for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. After lunch, we trek from Yen Nhi Homestay through Thuon Village and return to Yen Nhi for an overnight stay.
- A 10-12 km trek.
After breakfast, we’ll begin our trek from Dam Thuy, following the border with China through the green fields of Cao Bang. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Thanh Nhat town. On the way, we’ll conquer Vinh Quy Pine Hill, where we’ll see traditional tiled stilt houses, mossy fences, and cattle grazing on grassy hills.
- A 17-20 km trek.
After breakfast, we’ll head to Dong Khe and That Khe, two historical sites significant in Vietnam's war of independence. We’ll stop for lunch on the way back to Hanoi, arriving around 5:30 PM. It’s then time to say goodbye to our guide and driver.
