From the village below, the summit of Ta Lien stands tall and majestic—resembling the proud back of a forest buffalo. Because of this distinct silhouette, locals often refer to Ta Lien as "Co Trau". Rising to an official height of 2,996 meters above sea level, the peak offers breathtaking views of Lai Chau, a charming city nestled amidst the grandeur of the surrounding mountains and forests.
As you venture through the Ta Lien forest, you'll be immersed in an incredibly rich ecosystem of primeval beauty. The trail winds through ancient trees shrouded in moss, with ferns and ivy blanketing the forest floor. Vivid carpets of fallen white camellias, crimson maple leaves, and velvety green moss make every step feel like you're walking through a dreamlike, mythical world.

Ta Lien Trekking Tour Itinerary – Conquering Vietnam’s 6th Highest Peak
Hanoi - Sapa
22:00 – Our tour guide will welcome you at the designated meeting point and assist you in boarding the sleeper bus bound for Sapa, Lao Cai.

If you're arriving by air, please ensure your transfer to Noi Bai Airport is scheduled by 22:00 at the latest.
The sleeper buses run daily. You may choose to arrive in Sapa ahead of the tour or extend your stay there after completing your trek.
Day 1: Sapa – Ta Lien Son
04:30 – Upon arrival in Sapa, the group will transfer to the hotel for a short rest, freshen up, and receive the necessary trekking gear.
06:15 – Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Viettrekking Sapa Restaurant to fuel up for the adventure ahead.
07:30 – Depart by car toward the trekking start point at Ta Leng, approximately 80 km from Sapa. From there, continue by motorbike taxi to the base of the mountain.
10:00 – Reach the trailhead and begin your journey up the mountain.
12:00 – Take a break for lunch amidst nature.
17:00 – Arrive at the designated campsite for the evening and rest after a fulfilling day of trekking.
18:30 – Enjoy a hearty dinner, then relax for the night in a wooden hut equipped with blankets and insulated padding to keep you warm.

Day 2: Touching the Top of Ta Lien Son/ Sa Pa - Hanoi
05:00 – Wake up early to enjoy a warm breakfast accompanied by a cup of coffee or ginger tea in the fresh morning air.
05:30 – Begin the final leg of the climb to the summit of Ta Lien Son.
08:00 – Reach the peak, where you’ll have time to rest, capture memorable photos, and take in the panoramic mountain views.
10:00 – Begin your descent back to the shelter, gather your belongings, and continue trekking down the mountain.
12:00 – Break for lunch and relax before the final journey back.
14:30 – Take a motorbike taxi to the main road where the vehicle is waiting to transfer the group back to Sapa.
17:00 – Arrive in Sapa, check in to the hotel and relax.
19:00 – Celebrate the successful adventure with a group dinner at Viettrekking Sapa Restaurant.
23:00 – Board the sleeper bus for the overnight return to Hanoi.
04:30 (next morning) – Arrive at the original meeting point in Hanoi, marking the end of the tour. The guide bids farewell.
