How to apply a Vietnam Business Visa

If you are planning a business trip to Vietnam, you need to obtain a business visa. A business visa (classified as DN) is a short-term visa that allows its holder to enter and remain in Vietnam for no more than 12 months to work with Vietnamese companies or conduct business operations such as meetings, sign business contracts, etc.

WHAT IS THE DOCUMENT NEEDED FOR VIETNAM BUSINESS VISA?

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure (temporary passports will not be accepted)
• 02 blank pages for visa stamp
• The stamp fee (for a visa on arrival) for a business visa is $ 25 for 1 month / 3 months of single entry, $ 50 for 1 month / 3 months of multiple entry and $ 95 for 6 months of visa multiple.
• A letter of sponsorship from a company licensed in Vietnam and its business license copy.

From October 10, 2019, multiple entry visas for 6 months and 1 year are not yet available (for visas upon arrival for non-US citizens). We will update this page regularly if there are changes for visas for 6 months and 1 year. We strongly recommend that you contact the closest embassy in your country to request a long-term business visa to Vietnam.

HOW TO APPLY A VIETNAM BUSINESS VISA?

There are two options for obtaining a business visa to Vietnam, which may include:

• Visa on arrival: A letter on the approval of a business visa can be obtained at GoVisa.com.vn (a specialized business visa provider)
• Visa at the Embassy of Vietnam Abroad

For the both choices, you must submit a sponsorship letter from your business partner in Vietnam.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A BUSINESS VISA?

The processing time for a business visa varies from 7 business days to more than 10 business days from the date of application.

• Visa on arrival: 5-7 business days to receive a confirmation letter (for emergency requests, it can be processed within 2-3 business days)
• Visa at the embassy: this may differ, contact the embassy for time processing.
