BAC HA
Days 1: Bac Ha local market
You’ll be picked up early from Lao Cai train station or Sapa town, then drive to Bac Ha to visit one of the following markets:
1. Can Cau market (Saturday)
2. Bac Ha & Lung Phin market (Sunday)
3. Coc Ly market (Tuesday)
4. Shin Cheng market (Wednesday)
These smaller, authentic markets are filled with local life and animals like pigs, buffaloes, and horses for sale. After exploring, trek through rice terraces to reach your homestay with a Dzao family, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
- A 7-10 km trek.
Days 2: Bac Ha trekking
After breakfast at the homestay, start your day with a trek to Ta Giang Pho, a hidden gem rarely visited by tourists, offering an authentic glimpse into local cultures. Continue your hike to Lay Thuy Ngai, where you'll be surrounded by stunning landscapes and terraced rice fields, with the chance to meet locals from the Red Dao and Black H’mong communities.
After the trek, a driver will take you to a boat for a scenic ride on the Chay River. Enjoy a relaxing cruise with a picnic lunch on board, then disembark and head back to Na Hoi village for dinner and an overnight stay.

Days 3: Bac Ha - Ha Noi
After breakfast at the homestay, visit the Hmong King's Palace (King Hoang A Tuong), a grand structure built in 1920 with a unique blend of European and Oriental architecture by the French and Chinese. After exploring, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before driving back to Hanoi.
