Bach Ma National Park from Hue
Tour Overview
Tree ferns thrive along the misty, damp slopes and deep ravines in the upper reaches of the park. Among the park’s rare and elusive inhabitants is the Saola (Pseudoryx nghetinhensis), a mysterious large mammal whose taxonomic classification remains a subject of scientific debate. As the morning mist begins to lift, revealing the cool, tranquil surroundings, the rich biodiversity of Bach Ma gradually emerges — from its unique flora and fauna to the remnants of elegant colonial-era villas. Nestled atop the mountain on the outskirts of Hue City, this once-flourishing retreat boasted 139 villas, a flower garden, and even its own post office during its golden years.
