Itinerary – Bai Dinh Pagoda, Trang An & Mua Cave Full-Day Tour
07:00 – 07:45: Our driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and begin the journey to Ninh Binh, around 120 km from the capital.
10:30: Arrive at Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest Buddhist temple complex in Vietnam. You’ll have time to explore the impressive grounds, admire the 500 Arhat statues, and see the giant bronze Buddha statue standing 10 meters tall and weighing 100 tons.
12:00: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant featuring Ninh Binh specialties such as mountain goat meat, crispy rice, and seasonal vegetables.
13:00: Continue to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Board a traditional sampan boat to explore the serene waterways, pass through mystical caves like Sang (Light), Toi (Dark), Ba Giot (Three Drops), and Nau Ruou (Wine Brewing Cave), while admiring the peaceful countryside and limestone karsts.
15:30: Visit Mua Cave (Dancing Cave), a hidden gem in Ninh Binh. Conquer the 500 steps to reach the mountain peak and be rewarded with a stunning panoramic view over Tam Coc and the surrounding rice fields.
