Fansipan peak
Days 1: Fansipan trek
**Medium Trekking Route:**
At 08:30, take a bus (17km) to Tram Ton Pass, Vietnam’s highest pass at 2,100m. Stop at Silver Waterfall on the way, then begin your 6-hour trek through jungles, streams, and bamboo forests. By the end of the day, you’ll reach 2,200m, where you’ll set up camp, enjoy dinner, and spend your first night on the mountain.
**Hard Trekking Route:**
Around 08:30, start from Sapa town, passing villages and terraced fields, before reaching Black Hmong Sin Chai village. Trek through dense, slippery jungle and steep terrain for about 6 hours. After reaching 2,200m, set up camp, have dinner, and spend the night in the cold mountain air.
**Note:** Night temperatures are very cold, and hygiene and bathing facilities are limited. A sleeping bag is provided for your tent stay.
Days 2: Fansipan peak
After an early breakfast at camp, begin your 4-hour climb through pine and bamboo forests to reach the summit of Vietnam and Indochina's highest peak. Spend up to an hour enjoying panoramic views of Lai Chau Province’s villages and the town of Sapa. After lunch, descend to Sin Chai Village of the Black H’mong and travel back to Sapa.
Optionally, you can take a cable car back to Sapa for stunning aerial views of the Fansipan range and terraced rice fields.
You can then return to Hanoi or stay longer in Sapa.
