Hoang Su Phi
Days 1: Ha Noi - Bac Ha
Your tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 A.M. from your hotel in Hanoi and drive northeast towards Lao Cai. We’ll make a few rest stops along the way, then continue to Bac Ha for lunch. Afterward, visit the H’mong King’s Palace (Hoang A Tuong) and enjoy a one-hour walk on the trails behind the mountains. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge in Bac Ha.

Days 2: Bac Ha - Phung village
After 3 hours of driving from Bac Ha, with stops at local villages and lunch, we’ll start a strenuous 7-10 km hike to Phung Village. The trail offers views of fields and La Chi buffalo herds, and you’ll experience the remote La Chi ethnic group’s way of life.

Days 3: Phung village - Nam Hong village
After a home-cooked breakfast at the homestay, we’ll visit the La Chi villages, where women with black teeth and bright smiles weave fabrics and work together in traditional stilt houses. After two hours of walking through the fields, we’ll drive to Thong Nguyen, known for its terraced rice plateau. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then trek through the villages and rice fields of Nam Hong. Tonight, rest with a Dao ethnic family.

Days 4: Nam Hong village - Ha Noi
On our final day, we’ll enjoy a farewell breakfast with our host family before embarking on a 3-hour trek to explore villages around Thong Nguyen. The trail takes us through lush forests, tea plantations, terraced rice fields, and stunning mountain views. Along the way, we’ll have lunch with a local family and meet locals. Afterward, we’ll return to Hanoi, with rest stops along the way, arriving in the early evening to say goodbye.
