Along the way, you'll pass through Dong Ha City, cross the Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, and visit the remarkable Vinh Moc Tunnels — a network of underground shelters used by villagers during the war. You’ll also stop by the ruins of La Vang Church, a sacred site where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared in 1798. Continue along a section of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
Afternoon:
Embark on a scenic boat ride along the peaceful Son River, surrounded by limestone cliffs and rustic countryside. The highlight of the day is the exploration of Phong Nha Cave — an impressive natural wonder. Cruise into the cave by boat, then disembark to explore on foot, marveling at the incredible formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Take your time to soak in the raw beauty of the cave and the serene landscape along the river.
Evening:
Return journey to Hue, arriving back in the city around 8:00 PM.
